Introduction

Reaching Potentials Educational Institute is a non-profit K-12 and adult Institute. The Institute was established in December 1995 by professor Michael L. Antwine. The Institute focused on helping K-12 students who were unsuccessful in tradition schools. Upon enrollment, students were interviewed to identify any possible learning obstacles. Once obstacles were identified, an education plan was developed to address those obstacles. Students' plans were individualized, self-paced and designed to achieve selected objectives and expected outcomes. The adult students were trained in high-tech careers. Today, the Institute focus on keeping minority students in school and preparing them to compete in a global job market. Also, the Institue is dedicated to provide job information to low-income family heads.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to expose economically disadvantaged students to careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

Institute's Philosophy

We believe that all students can learn, and will learn in their chosen fields and endeavors. They must possess a burning desire to learn, provided with the right opportunity to learn, provided with motivated educators and are placed in a suitable learning environment. Our Institute is committed to provide low-income families with information on available jobs and job training opportunities.
